Curb appeal is your only chance to make a positive impact on buyers before they enter your house. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers create their initial opinion of your home and how you perform home's regular maintenance. Make yourself at home...

Does your house seem to say, "Hello From Your New Welcome Home" to a buyer? Looking through your house with a critical eye, we'll suggest arrangements that build up market appeal. We'll help you reduce the effect of things that give the impression of clutter. Table and counter tops should be free and clear. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' works of art should get moved out of sight. We can help you simplify the decor of house. Less than inviting or busy places make your home feel smaller and buyers have a more difficult time picturing themselves living there.

We'll review every room of your home. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that need brightening, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively impact the sale.

We'll make sure that your home has mass appeal and that it's inviting, avoiding "offensive" or "personalized" colors on the walls and furniture. And if the house is empty, you can consider borrowing furnishings. You want your home to look lived in as opposed to bare.

In the short time that your house will be on the market, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. Dark living areas can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like draw back curtains and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a pleasing scent flows room-to-room. We'll make use of cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your love seat and bed. Buyers should feel like your current house has the potential to be.
